Vintage cream cashmere brown mink collar sweater Bernard Altmann Sz M/L

this sweater is approximately 70+ years old from late 40’s to early 50’s period. in fair+ condition but shows some signs of being a true vintage garment. please read before purchase! cream cashmere sweater, brown mink collar, off white lace and silk lining. from a few feet away it’s a gorgeous vintage piece. most people won’t notice a lot of this, but i pick at all the fine details to be as transparent as possible about flaws so there are no big surprises if you purchase. i have taken photos of issues as well. brown mink is real and in quite good condition. there are no major stains. some discoloration on back left shoulder as shown. it definitely has pilling throughout the sweater, but i found no pulls or tears in it, which is pretty great. i think some love and attention can address the pilling but i don’t trust myself to do it. the clasp has some damage and small break in design on top right, but works. all other clasps work and are there. the original tag is missing. L sleeve cuff missing a jewel. back looks pretty nice outside of some pilling and slight discoloration i mentioned. there is a nickel-sized tear in the silk lining. i believe this is a Ladies large. the lowest part fits around the “waist” on my (dude-shaped) mannequin at around a 36”-37” measurement. laid flat measurements: throat to waist distance 16” shoulder to shoulder 19” pit to pit 23” lowest part of sweater 16” left to right shoulder seam to cuff 22” happy new year and happy shopping!
