In excellent vintage condition
Manufactured 1997/1998
By Choice Sportswear, China

Cotton Blend Velour

-
Provenance: Vintage Item. imported. Item was acquired at auction from a major motion picture studio in Hollywood CA. Items were worn in TV and Film productions then dry cleaned and professionally packed, sealed and stored for their lifetime.
-
The Jacket is the same one worn by James Gandolfini in the 1999 Season 3 Episode 1 & 6 of The Sopranos as pictured. While it has not been confirmed that this is the exact item worn on the show, the items size, date of manufacture and provenance suggests it is highly probable this was the actual jacket worn or a wardrobe multiple of the item worn by Tony Soprano on the show.

Hello I am interested in your track jacket.Since you are asking for quite a bit of money for it do you have any paperwork or authentication to prove its origin.

@valkurek to an extent yes I have receipt verifying me obtaining it from the auction house which also verifies it came from a movie studio. The other paperwork is the verification of the date of manufacture and it being seen in the show. I can provide all of that research and paperwork.

And the receipt also contains a photo of the lot of vintage clothes I purchased, and the jacket is visible in the photo

@valkurek in addition to the photo of the lot of vintage clothes... that tag that is visible on the right arm in the photo is still on the item & is the original inventory tag placed there by the wardrobe dept at the studio . It doesn’t contain any identifying info itself, but it could be used for future verification by the studio’s wardrobe dept I imagine. The studio is never listed by the auction house, but other items I purchased identified the studio they came from as Warner Brothers.

I appreciate your great communication and professionalism and feedback on your item.I am definitely interested and I would never waste my time or yours but $500 honestly is more than I am willing to spend. My son is graduating high school in 2 weeks so I have some extra expenses and things are a little tight financially right now for me however if you are willing to work with me I would love to do some friendly business.

@valkurek I’m happy to field offers through the app. As I detailed, I did not realize what I was buying when I obtained this which is why I have such detailed research on the item which was conducted once I discovered it. But it just was priced based off of an appraisal of its value by a memorbilia professional so I’m flexible on the price

I want to thank you again for your great messaging with me.I noticed in one of your pictures of the jacket I saw that the garment tag had written on it 2 PC so I was wondering if you also had the matching pants.I would appreciate it if you could post a clear picture of the garment tag or if you could just share with me what is exactly written on the garment tag.
