Vintage ceramic vase with Hibiscus

Mid-century white ceramic vase, approximately 9.5 inches tall by 5 inches at widest, embellished with a hand-painted orange Hibiscus and gold accents on the rim and handle. The piece is not marked as to origin, but I believe it is likely to be from Japan.
