Vintage black velvet muff /purse with cylinder Bakelite zipper attachment

Purse/ muff measures 12x11 inches. It is a smocked velvet on the front and back top. Smocking shown in photo # 6 taken outdoors. Looks gray but it is a rich black. Spacious compartment inside that is in excellent condition. Will hold keys phone and more. Believe it is stuffed with feathers so anyone allergy prone should be aware. The zipper is worn but in working condition. The last photo that shows the golden Bakelite zipper pull also shows the wear on the zipper. A fabulous vintage purse that is perfect for cold weather to keep your hands warm ! Guessing 30’s or 40’s but could be earlier.
