Vintage basketweave oversize Salt & Pepper shakers stamped “Made in Japan”.

These are stout salt and pepper shakers standing 4.5” tall and 2.75” wide in a beautiful basketweave pattern. There are no cracks and no chips - these ceramic shakers have a crackled effect all over. For some strange reason the SALT shaker is not labeled like the PEPPER one is (?). It’s not like it was ever labeled - all 4 sides are just plain basketweave. The holes on the SALT are larger than the holes on the PEPPER shaker. If you’re interested - as of 1/24 there was a matching single SALT shaker on EBAY (ie no PEPPER) that is clearly marked SALT. If I was keeping these I’d order that labeled SALT shaker and use the NOT labeled shaker that’s in this set for either powdered sugar or cinnamon - just an idea! Sadly, neither of these shakers have plugs. Open to offers :). Smoke free home.
