tcanas @kittykat1378 no worries. I am sorry I misunderstood you. It is a lovely vintage bag that was amongst the belonging of an aunt that passed away. She always loved these bags but due to its age I can’t find a serial number to authenticate it. It’s possible that it is a Chanel but I’m just not sure! Either way-it surely looks like one 😊

kittykat1378 Some of the old bags didn’t have codes. I had a few so I sold them cheap because I couldn’t authenticate. But after I did research I seen where the old vintage bags didn’t have codes. So without codes or they did have codes and codes got tore out etc. it’s hard to sell ? It’s a beautiful bag! You may want keep it if you don’t get fair price?I have authentic canvas right now listed , and if I sold it at the price I have listed I’m losing, cause the code is gone.

tcanas @kittykat1378 thanks for the advice. I have heard that about the older bags not having codes. Maybe I should list it for more. I’m just not sure about these things. As you said I can always keep it

lovethat @kittykat1378 chanel is never made in China. Chanel bags are made in both France and Italy, so either can be included in the brand stamp. The brand stamp will only specify a city on a fake Chanel.
