Vintage Zulu pin brooch

Possibly a Zulu African pin from 40s or 50s The Zulus were not professional soldiers but they made up for this with their knowledge of the terrain and their determination to protect their native lands. A Zulu warrior would join this part-time militia between the ages of 19 and 40. This pin/brooch is truly on of a kind. Very good condition with enamel. Interesting piece of history.
