lopezrn Hi. I need a full zoot suit for my son. I can use these pants but don’t seen any jackets in your closet that would fit the look. He is slim-5’9” 120 lbs. Got anything that might work?

tuxedojunction @cwhite904 Hi, they are not a tapered leg. Any tailor could do that if you wanted that done. I can send you a picture tomorrow

maskman21218 I want to ask a question, but I can't find an option for that. When you hem to fit inseam, are these pants (the zoot suit pants) cuffed or not? What is traditional? I would like a cuff, but don't want to violate tradition, either. Also, how wide are the legs at the widest point - like at the knee (flat measurement)? and what is the flat measurement of cuff area? Is the waist adjustable up or down in size?

maskman21218 @tuxedojunction What is the flat width measurement at mid leg and also at the cuff? When you said above that the leg was not tapered, that suggests that the leg is a straight leg pant (same width all the way from upper thigh clear to ankle). Zoot suits have a remarkably tapered leg-- VERY wide at the knee and very fitted at the cuff. Can you clarify this with measurements or at least a photo of the pants lying FLAT?

tuxedojunction @maskman21218 Hi, there is no cuff. If you want a cuff any tailor can do that. Right below the pleats the measurement is 13.5, approximate knee area is 11.5. Bottom of leg is approximately 8.25. The waist adjusts three sizes. For example a 31 waist adjusts from 30-32

tuxedojunction @maskman21218 Zoot suits were typically worn 1910-1940. This is a modernized version From the 90’s
