Vintage Yixing Teapot

Yixing teapots can be square. The square shape, known as “方器” (fāng qì) in Chinese, is a distinctive style of Yixing teapots that embodies the concept of “square within round”. This teapot is in excellent shape. Measures 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 inches tall. Bottom has artist signature. Very interesting piece to research.
