Vintage Wooden Village & Zoo/Farm Animals - 75+ Pieces German Erzgebirge Lorenz

This cute and colorful set of 75+ is made up of smaller sets of beautifully painted and carved vintage German wood toys. In great condition with very little wear (all except for the polar bear piece that is shown that has some cracks in the wood that were repaired decades ago). Not sure of exact age, as this is thought to be a combination of the smaller German Erzgebirge town structure sets (with pieces of two of the original mesh bags included) that are thought to be mid-1980s. The Lorenz Spiel Welt zoo/circus/farm animal pieces/vehicles/other items are thought to be older, possibly the 1970s. Beautiful, bright colors. Great learning toys that spark children's imaginations and creativity! The larger animals (like the hippo) have painted details like smiling faces. And amazing set!
