Vintage Wood Bowler Figurine Bobble Head- Nodder- Bowling Team Collectible Japan

Vintage wood figurine sports person! From approximately 1950s-1960s. Made in Japan. This figurine is a man who is bowling. He has a very small spring for a neck so he would be considered a bobble head- or otherwise known at the time as a “Nodder.” With a little tap, his head will playfully bounce up and down. He has brown hair, red ball cap, yellow shirt, and blue pants. This is in good used condition. Paint is in good shape. There is one split in the wood of his right shoulder but remains intact. Height is about 2 3/4”. Base is 1 3/4” across. What a cool gift for your favorite bowler or bowling teammate! Original box is NOT included; however original box did read, “Hand carved wooden figure-Hand painted.” Smoke free home. Thanks for looking!
