Vintage “The Wizard of Oz” Hand-Painted Sweatshirt Mint Green Large My boyfriend’s mom hand-painted this sweatshirt in the mid 1970’s to support her son when he played the roll of the Cowardly Lion in his high school & community theater performances of The Wizard of Oz. It’s in excellent condition for its age with no pilling, stains, or tears. It has been freshly laundered and sealed in plastic after I took the photos. The yellow-ish areas seen on the upper front are not stains, but clouds. I have tried to capture all the details in pictures and have added text notes to areas I thought might be viewed as questionable.
