This vintage Willow Tree Angel of Learning  Figurine by Susan Lordi for DEMDACO was released in 1999. The charming piece is made to look like a traditional hand carved angel. The theme centers around the importance of education and learning with the angel holding a book close to her heart. The hand-painted figurine features wings made with multiple pieces of fine wire that look like aged bronze. The blonde haired angel stands 5-1/4" tall with a wing span of 3-1/2". This original piece is from the Willow Tree collection and is marked at the bottom with the artist's name and year of production. This would make the perfect gift for a special teacher or book club friend. The figurine is in excellent condition with no chips or marks.
