Vintage William Schmidt Handmade in Norway Women's Wool Cardigan Sweater

The sweater is in beautiful condition. It is a natural white and deep blue and has seven pewter buttons with an embossed flower. Size L - based on measurements of 22" pit to pit, 25"L and 22" sleeve length. The sweater features a classic Fair Isle pattern, a traditional Norwegian knitting technique. William Schmidt sweaters were known for their high-quality craftsmanship and use of pure wool. Created in the late 1940s by expert Norwegian knitters and distributed by William Schmidt in Oslo.
