Vintage Whiting Davis Necklace With Fish Pendant

The Whiting Davis Company became famous for their mesh metals handbags but also made accessories and costume jewelry. It's believed that the jewelry line began in the 1950s. They remain in business today but stopped making jewelry in 1951. Their pieces are valued and collected, primarily because of the uniqueness of the shiny mesh metals. The pieces endure. I purchased this necklace in 1966, and it looks brand new. The chain and pendanthand 15", while the overall length of the chain is 24".
