Vintage Westgate Chatwick Damask Cotton Fabric Sample Panel

Thank you for looking! This is a vintage sample panel of Westgate Fabrics Chatwick Damask 100% cotton. It measures about 25 and 3/4 inches by about 27 and 1/2 inches. 3 of the edges are serged. There are a few rust stains as shown in the photos and where the product information tag is stapled to the fabric. There is a metal grommet in the center of the panel. This would be great for making an evening bag, pockets for artisan clothing, or cut in into strips to make a belt, to name a few ideas. Because the fiber content is all cotton, the material could easily be dyed for even more project options. The grommet could either be incorporated into a project, or cut out and filled in with other fabric, or even lace or painted silk for a stunning effect! From a smoke-free, rabbit-friendly home.
