Vintage Wedgwood Cameo Pendant & Silver Cable Chain

Vintage Wedgwood ceramic cameo pendant and silver 925 cable chain from the 1970s. Cameo features ‘Diana the Hunter’ neoclassical design. Diana is a Roman version of the Goddess Artemis featured with a stag. Also Goddess of maidens and children. Made in England. Pendent height: 2.8 cm / 1” (including pendant loop & bail), width: 1.3 cm / 0.5” on a silver 925 cable chain. Wedgwood jewelry was first made 200 years ago when Josiah Wedgwood FRS (1730-95) introduced his much prized Jasper ‘body’ in 1774.
