I believe this was a jam pot. It was made in the U. S.A. and has such a regal pattern! Rare…couldn’t find anything like this online. Back stamp is in green. Here’s the provenance that I can share. This beautiful piece belonged to a friend of my brothers, Ruth Frick of Grand Island, Ne. She was the sweetest lady ever!! I purchased it at her estate auction. She died in 2000. The auctioneer at her sale said this came from Hotel Yancey which is on the National Register Of Historic Places and Ruth and her husband had purchased it in around 1982 when the hotel was converted to condo units. The hotel was built in 1917-1923. With lid , the pot is approximately 2 3/4” h., 3” across. You could use this to serve jam, mustard, relish, etc. Will be carefully packaged to preserve this piece of history!!
