Vintage Villeroy and Boch Porcelain Gallery Card by Artist Boris Zvorykin. This vivid-colored porcelain tile (or card) depicts a scene at the Lithuanian Frontier and was made in West Germany before the fall of the Berlin Wall more than 30 years ago. The artist, Boris Zworykin (1872-1942), who was deaf-and-dumb, was a renowned illustrator who worked on children's fairy tale books, murals of church interiors, greeting cards, gift books and also was commissioned by the Imperial Court of Russia for the coronation of Nicholas II and Alexandra Feodorovna.
