Vintage Vigneri from the 80s, 2 Clear and Decorated Acrylic Cuffs

A ''Married Pair'' of Handcrafted, One Of A Kind, Clear Acrylic and Acrylic Paint, by Frank and Anne Vigneri. These were made by us in our Art Production Studio in Oakland, CA., at about 1987. I say 'Married' because they just Belong to each in Style and Coloration. They started out as flat sheets of 1/2'' thick clear Acrylic, then 'carved', shaped, hand painted, decorated, and signed. The larger cuff is 1.75'' wide x 3.25'' dia., the smaller cuff is 1'' wide and same dia. They also come with our signed and dated Certificate Of Authenticity; seen here. More: Anne and Frank Vigneri were pioneers in the use of Plexiglas as their material for Art-to-Wear Jewelry. Beginning in 1981 they worked together to create one.of.a.kind designs using an industrial material in ways that had never been seen before. Soon their work appeared in many of the upscale stores across the country, including Saks Fifth Ave., Henri Bendel, and Neiman Marcus. The Vigneri's accessories enjoyed great editorial coverage appearing in national and international publications including the New York Times as well as on the covers of Vogue and Cosmopolitan. No molds were ever used with each piece being individually Handcrafted in their two studios in Oakland, CA. All of their works are Signed by the artist and offered with their Signed and Dated Certificate Of Authenticity.
