Vintage Vienna Woods Fine China Blue Onion Mustache Mug

Beautiful blue and white fine china mustache mug, made by Vienna Woods, in the 1950's. The mustache mug is in the Blue Onion Pattern. It features a blue floral design on a striking white background. The Vienna Woods blue onion mug's purpose is protecting a man's mustache from getting wet while he drinks his coffee or tea. The wavy bar protects the mustache and he drinks through the open space. The handle has a slight dip for the thumb which is a difference between a mustache mug and a shaving mug. The Blue and white, blue onion mug measures 4" tall x 3 1/2" diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks and no crazing. The graphics are beautiful and bright. And the white is pristine white. The bottom is stamped "VIENNA WOODS FINE CHINA ".
