Vintage Victoriana Brocade Silk-Lined Bag

Made in the 1960s by Carpetbags of America, this vintage brocade handbag with light purple silk lining was designed to resemble a Victorian-era purse. It has a metal top with purple jewel accent and chain strap. The interior features a small hand-embroidered cluster of flowers. It measures 10" long x 8" wide, and the strap is 13.5" long. This was in among antique lace, gloves, and boots from my great-great grandmother, likely purchased by my grandmother in the 1960s because she was fond of Victorian-esque things. I'm moving to a much smaller home and have no way to safely store, nor use this lovely item. Condition: No damage at all to this unique bag- it's been kept protected from smoke, perfume, and pet dander.
