Vintage Victorian Silver Plated Compote or Brides Basket

This is an antique silver-plated compote made by the N. P. Company (Northwestern Plating Company). It is likely from the late 19th or early 20th century. Compotes are serving dishes, often footed, used for desserts, fruits, candies, sauces, or jellies. Also called a bride’s basket - it would make a unique wedding gift! Great vintage condition.
