Vintage Vestal, Portugal Alcobaca Porcelain Shoe

Super cute Vestal, Portugal Alcobaca Porcelain Shoe. A rare find. Done in light blue, handpainted flowers and bright colors of dark blue, light blue, reds, yellow, and greens. Measures about 4 inches long and 1 inch deep at heel and 1.5 inches deep at front of shoe. There are no cracks, chips, or crazing. In the last picture there is a tiny, tiny flea bite a product of the glazing and firing process. The inside is clean with no flaws noted. On the bottom of the shoe it says: Vestal, Portugal and 48. I am thing the 48 means 1948 as I have seen others that say the same thing. I don't know for sure so I can't say definitely that is what it means.
