Vintage Very fine embroidered vintage Choli or Kachali (a backless blouse) by the Banjara tribe Native top Size XS (estimated, there are no tags) Handmade vintage item Vintage estimated circa 1960s-1970s, possibly earlier Short sleeves, tie back (which is open) Patchwork design, buttons mirrors and different textiles with tied fringe bottom This incredibly ornate top was likely a lifelong piece for its previous owner, using handwoven textiles that had been passed down to build onto and alter the base garment. The intricately embroidered sections surely predate the rest of the top, as you see the passage of time in the contemporary strips of fabric. Embroidered textured patches probably with a cotton base fabric with cotton embroidery and mirror chips and buttons Rajasthani, Vintage Measurements approximately 14” pit to pit 23” long Condition is good for age with some tearing and wear to fabric.
