Vintage Vera Wang Wool and Mohair Sweater Size L

Vintage Vera Wang (not Simply Vera Wang) wool and mohair layered sweater. Top layer has a shawl like collar and a bit of a cropped fit. Underneath, there is a thinner long sleeve button down knit that extends past the first layer. Both layers are sown together at the shoulders (pictured). It has a very detailed embroidered patch with a crown on top and a shield in the center surrounded by intricate designs and text. The text includes "THE SUFFOLK REGT" indicating it is likely related to the Suffolk Regiment, a line infantry regiment of the British Army. The embroidery uses gold-colored threads for the majority of the design, which stands out against the darker fabric of the sweater. Fabric: 86% wool 14% mohair Measurements: Ptp 20” Length 33”
