🔅The "Orchid" vase is both a sculpture and a functional vase. There is an opening leading to an interior bubble like space allowing for water to feed the orchid when used as a vase. 🔅This is Sarpaneva's most famous design and although it is called a vase it doesn't pretend to be a vase - it's a sculpture! 🔅It won the "Grand Prix" at the 1954 Milan Triennale and was voted the "Most Beautiful Object of the Year" by House Beautiful magazine 🔅H 7 in. x Dia. 3 in. 🔅1953 Finland Signed
