Vintage VALENTINO Jeweled Sunflower Brooch

Valentino,for decades, has been one of the most sought after designers in the world. This spectacular jeweled oversized Sunflower Brooch only enhances his top of the line reputation. The 3 dimensional brooch is a gold color and is covered with wonderful clear and gold crystals. Although there is a slight gap between 2 of the clear crystals (picture 5), it is difficult to find and not visible when worn. None are missing. With two layers of leaves also encrusted with crystals, the large 3” round pin is secured by a long bar pin as well as a butterfly clasp. Valentino wanted his design to sit perfectly when worn so used two clasps to guarantee the look he wanted. Except for the hardly visible space the brooch is in very good vintage condition. It also is signed with the designers V insignia in 2 places and a small plaque saying “Made in Italy”.
