Vintage Thames Ceramic Lidded Dresser/Bathroom Apothecary Canister,‎ Pink

I remember my Grandmothers having these jars on their dressers when I was young. I never asked what was in them, though. Now, I think they could have held cotton balls, maybe. This gorgeous vintage jar with lid is shiny pink in color, trimmed in gold. On the front are blue ceramic flowers with dark gold glittery centers and a pink ceramic pink bow. It is 10” tall and 3.25” in diameter. On the bottom are the #’s 52/477. There are no chips or cracks. The only call-outs are gold rubbings on the lid and near the base. This would look beautiful on any dressing table or bathroom shelf. **Inside, I found a paper rolled up inside that reads: 1962 Apothecary Jar = President Statek & Chatter??? (Not sure what it reads). I folded the paper where the woman’s name was signed. See last photo.
