Vintage Terracotta Water Cooler

A gargoulette or a gurglet is a terra-cotta or clay container used by farmers in the old days to stock water to keep it fresh and drink from it. The word gargoulette comes from the provencal language “gargouleto” which means small pitcher. Great conversion piece. Use anywhere for decor. 7” round x 6.5” tall (top of handle) I don’t see any chips or cracks. Just undefined areas from pushing the clay down before baked. See pics for full condition
