Vintage Tea Length Black Velvet Evening Dress

This dress is dated from sometime after 1974 and no later than 1995 by the label. It is made from real velvet not velveteen or velour. The measurements are shoulder to shoulder 14”, pit to pit 18”, hips 38”, sleeve length 11.5”, zipper 13”, length from the shoulder to the bottom hem in the back is 42.5” and I would say goes to the ankles, waist 30”. It is labeled a size 5/6. The lining in the sleeves are hanging loose and should be pressed so that it does not hang out of the sleeve or tacked up.
