Vintage Taxco Sterling Silver Abalone Abstract Heavy 86 Grams Choker Necklace

This is a beautiful vintage Taxco Mexico sterling silver necklace. Links are set with abalone shell in the purple/green range. Connector and abalone links are an approx 2mm thick and end in a box clasp. This necklace is at a choker length and weighs a hefty 86 grams (3.03oz). Necklace is 17 inches length and links are 11/16ths of an inch length and 1/2 and inch wide. Stamped Mexico, 925, TM- and what looks like 278 but stamp is worn toward the bottom, and acid tests positive for sterling silver. J1
