Fashionable in the 1950’s and 1960’s spilene bags, were called carpet bags because of the carpet like tapestry material they were made of. This pretty bag is floral on black. Gold tone button clasp that raises up to open the purse. Leather like frame and double straps. Black fabric lining. Zippered pocket. Excellent vintage condition. 2” bottom gusset x 8" tall x 10" wide.

raque6 @kaylarossetti top of strap is 10” from clasp closure on the top edge of the bag. Not really a true shoulder bag but can fit comfortable on shoulder/under arm. Thank you for your interest.
