Vintage Tall Pale Blue Sake Jug, Pitcher, Hand Painted Asian Calligraphy Letters

Tall sake jug, glazed in a very very pale blue tint, with darker blue hand painted calligraphy decorations. This is a larger than usual size, with deep grooves around the bottom half and a wide spout at the top. Deep indentations are spaced out around the sides to provide a good grip. The artwork is skillfully executed, graceful and lovely. Excellent condition, no notable signs of wear or age, and no damage. Very shiny and bright, with beautiful color. Measures approximately 6 1/4" tall, and about 3" in diameter measured at the bottom. It holds approximately 8 oz.
