Vintage Taille d'épargne Book-chain & Onyx Intaglio Soldier Pendant Necklace

Beautiful Victorian black onyx intaglio soldier locket pendant on a faux Taille d'épargne (an enameling technique) brass book chain necklace. Pendant intaglio locket in gold tone metal with faux taille d'epargne. Inside there is a spot for one photo. Attributed to Coro designs; however, I’ve not found any with this intaglio design. I believe the locket may have been repurposed with a different high end glass onyx intaglio. The setting is beautiful quality and the black enameling on the book chain necklace is a perfect compliment to the pendant.
