Vintage Swoboda Asian Good Luck Semi-precious Stones Statement Pendant Necklace.

Statement vintage gold tone pendant. Asian Good Luck/Prosperity sign embellish with semi-precious stones chips like Garnet, Turquoise, Lapis, Carnelian and Rose quartz. The pendant measures 2.5" diam. and has a 26" Asian motif gold tone chain. This item is previously owned but in good condition. No visible damages but wear marks on clasp and plating on the back of pendant and the connector of chain and pendant. may need a good cleaning. Signed/Marked Swoboda Inc. SWOBODA Jewelry 1956-1985 The original owner and maker of this jewelry was Edward Swoboda, who worked from 1955-1978, and his shop was in Los Angeles, California. Known for it’s colorful polished semi-precious stones, his brooches are more the smaller size of real jewelry, unlike many of the vintage brooches which tend to be larger than that. He used a wide variety of stones including but not limited to amethyst, turquoise, coral, garnets, rubies, jade and pearls. The stones are glued rather than pronged in place and are set in gold plated base metal.
