This lovely Stratton compact made in England has a full scene on the front of fragonard painting from 18th century entitled the sermon of love. It's a romantic couple frolicking around a waterfall. The Mirror Has a frosted beveled Edge. It's also known to be the Stratton Queen with complete inner lid which is very rare. It's about 3 inches in diameter. There's powder in it. Appears to be untouched. Does not have puff. Excellent condition.

@dziner05 thank you, the Stratton compacts were made in different eras. Some people get the years completely mixed up. It's good to do the research on them to know exactly the year they were made. This particular one was made between the late 50s possibly 1960. But the queens were made in 1956, 57.
