Vintage Stratton Compact 1950's Vanity Collectible Butterfly Motif. Black enamel over brass, with reflective gold inlay, making the butterfly sparkle. Compact contains a mirror and a place for pressed powder and applicator. Measures approximately 3.5". Nice condition with some minimal wear on the enamel and back of the compact.

@nlgka I thought of you all Mother's Day, and now your husband has Father's Day coming... So hard. I don't watch TV, but I do watch a few shows, and one of the shows I watch obsessively (I can watch them a million times and never get sick of them) is "Glee" (cont)

@nlgka I don't know if you ever got into it, but it's about a Glee club, and being different, and the difficulties kids face in high school... Neeley might have watched it. It's more of her generation than ours. Anyway, one of the main characters passed away in real life, and the show had to deal with his loss. It kills me to see, but I'm so drawn to it. (cont)

@nlgka I guess I'm grieving my losses by watching a show that I know has such a real-life tragedy in it, so everything this one character does before he passes holds more meaning to me. I can't explain it right. Because he's in high school, his parents are also part of the show, and the actress who played his mom does an incredible job expressing the grief of losing her child. I'm not recommending you start watching "Glee". It is a wonderful show, especially if you like musicals (cont)

@nlgka And you would have to start from the beginning of season 1. There were 6 seasons, but after this character/actor passed away, the show fell apart. He passed away between filming seasons 4 and 5, and his death is dealt with during the beginning of the 5th season. I don't know why I'm writing about "Glee"! I'm a Gleek, it's true, however I always think of you when the show copes with the passing of this character, especially with how the mom handles it. (cont)

@nlgka It is hard being on Poshmark, and wanting to touch those who I can't physically see. Knowing that I've been able to give you something you can hold Neeley in is such a blessing for me. I have developed either extreme tendinitis, or carpal tunnel, which is causing me to fall off of the radar on PM. I have to go to the doctor and find out what's going on. Hopefully it's something that will heal quickly, once it's properly diagnosed.(cont)
