This stunning 925 and Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Pendant is a native American Navajo piece. The turquoise comes from the Sleeping Beauty mine which closed in 2012. It was the only source of Sleeping Beauty turquoise so there will be no new Sleeping Beauty turquoise. The mine closed in late 2012. The Sleeping Beauty Mine history was made through its impeccable Turquoise and the hard work of Monty Nichols. Arguably the largest producer of Turquoise in the world, the Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Mine was one of the largest producer of Turquoise in the United States. This turquoise piece has a crack which is normal. It does not deter from the beauty at all. It is in its vintage state meaning I have not polished the 925. You can polish or wear as is with it’s vintage look. 15
