Vintage Sterling Silver Italian Horn Cornicello Necklace Pendant Corno Charm

Vintage sterling silver Italian horn “cornicello” pendant. Acquired from a private estate collection, this talisman is solid sterling silver with a bail ring that can be worn on a necklace chain or charm bracelet. Historically, the cornicello (or corno / cornetto) was worn as an amulet for good luck and protection against the evil eye. Unsigned and acid tested for 925 sterling silver. 1.6” length including bail. 0.25” width at widest point. Nice solid weighty feel. Good pre-owned condition with some natural patina spots and surface wear commensurate with age.
