Vintage Sterling Silver Cutout Mercury Dime Pendant

This is very unique vintage pendant. It’s a sterling silver (tested) cutout of a 1940’s mercury dime. On the front is the profile of Mercury, the Roman god of commerce. On the reverse is a fasces wrapped by an olive branch representing peace. I love history and jewelry that depicts it. This is definitely one of those pieces!
