Vintage Sterling Silver Clip-On Earrings With The Niello technique Made In Siam

These are a very beautiful rare vintage set of clip-on earrings made in Siam(now Thailand) in sterling silver with the Niello technique dating from the 1930s-1940s. The figure depicted is from the Ramayana, a Sanskrit story. These earrings feature the Niello technique, a black enamel inlay, popular in tourist jewelry from that era.  Material: Sterling silver with Niello enamel Origin: Siam (now Thailand) Era: 1930s-1940s Design: Figure from the Ramayana Type: Clip-on earring Style: Tourist jewelry, often depicting gods and goddesses Hallmarks: Usually stamped with "Sterling Siam" or similar markings. As these are stamped. They measure 3/4 inches tall and 3/4 inches wide. There is some wear noted on the back but it doesn't affect the presentation nor the wearing of these Beautiful earrings. They have not been cleaned. I recommend you take them to a jeweler who is experienced in cleaning these vintage pieces. These belonged to my grandmother wh passed away several years ago at age 85.
