Vintage Sterling Malachite & Lapis Earrings - Ships ahoy!

The scene is a ship bow and masts in the blue ocean, with the green sky behind. I took them to a jeweler that stated they are sterling silver with malachite and lapis chip inlay. The earrings are just over an inch long and just under an inch wide. See pics. They were tarnished, but cleaned up nicely. Question welcome. From a smoke free home. Ships ahoy!
