Vintage Sterling Earrings with Red Agate

A pair of vintage (perhaps antique), beautiful earrings with red stones set into ovals of intricate silver-work. My best guess is that the stones are agate due to the striations of white. Both parts that comprise the earrings are stamped “.925” for sterling silver. While it is totally possible to clean & polish them, I appreciate the vintage look. I’ve never personally worn them but will sterilize the ear pieces before sending out.
