Vintage St Andrew's Abbey Dentist Angel Pottery Art Hanging, Valyermo California

Vintage St Andrew's Abbey Saint Patrick pottery tile wall plaque. Created by Father Maur Van Doorslaer, and produced by the monks and helpers in Valyermo, Ca. These wonderful religious plaques are all hand cut and painted. Father Van Doorslaer refers to these as "cookies" because they remind him of the Saint Nicolas cookies given to children in Belgium. Wall hanging depicts Dentist Angel in beautiful colors of speckled white, blues and greens. The top offers a small metal u shaped pin for string ribbon to hang on the wall. Back of wreath is stamped with St Andrews mark.
