Vintage Spring Song by Simon Glucklich

Vintage lithograh/print by Simon Glucklich (German, 1863-1943) titled “Spring Song” was created by the artist in 1929.. The story behind the famous picture says the artist painted his blind as a young girl. In the original painting she has a her eyes closed and in a second rendition, her eyes are open.Was stored and very old from my Great Aunt’s collection. Minor mark on lower bottom left corner of the print barely noticeable. Measures 8 inches across and 10 inches height including frame. Wood Frame is 1/2 inch width and height and shows wear at corners. Intricate detailing on its original frame with muted gold gilt. Glass is in tact. Back paper is worn and taped. Beautiful piece of artwork by a famous artist.
