While the Court continues to restrict the number of roses it provides to the Monarchs during their year, hundreds of people have been honored by the gift of a rose. It has been 40 years since that first gift and it remains one of the most honored recognitions in the International Court system.The Rose Court traces it’s beginnings to late 1958, and the rose now honored as one of our traditional symbols was first sold months later- in April of 1959.
