Vintage Silk Scarf with Gold Threading from Turpan, China

This silk scarf comes from Turpan, China, in Xinxiang Province. Turpan was a famous stop along the Silk Road trade route. The scarf colors and patterns are typical of the Uyghur crafts people. The scarf measures approximately 16" x 58" including fringe. This scarf is in excellent condition. No stains or tears. There are a few minor snags of gold silk threading which you would have to look at very closely to find.
