Vintage Silk Allettaré Beaded Embroidered Dinner Jacket - VTG L

This is so incredibly beautiful! There is an insane amount of beadwork and embroidery that went into creating this dramatic, elegant, totally sophisticated, one-of-a-kind look! I've never seen a design like this, a grid work of gold beading with each box filled with stitch work, beading and/or sequins. It is completely covered! It's a vintage jewel, a luxurious piece. The squared geometry brings this piece right into today's fashions. This is timeless! Please take your time and admire the expertise and time that went into completing this jacket. A 100% black silk dinner jacket with a comfortable polyester lining. I've examined and re-examined the art work, just loving it! I believe that the back is in pristine condition. I did not find any missing beading or stitching. I see that the front has been reworked, with the purple/pink sequins as later additions. (A few tiny stitches in the lining are evidence of these additions.) The last photo shows about a 2 cm length of tiny black beads missing from the neckline. The front of the jacket is in amazing condition, the aforementioned points are insignificant amongst all of the shine and beauty!
