Vintage Silent Butler Crumb Catcher Pan Hammered Aluminum Silver

This silent butler is made of hammered aluminum. The square shape and plain surface make this a functional and decorative piece for any setting. The lid opens by pressing down on the thumb latch over the hinge. In addition to its original purpose of having table crumbs or ashes swept into it, this can also be used for small trinket storage and a conversation piece on a table or shelf. What a unique gift for someone who has everything! No embossed maker, back stamp, or sticker. But there is an embossed number and letter 70589 M (in an oval) on the side. Size: the box part is approximately 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" square with the handle measuring approximately 5-1/4" long, overall measurement is 10-3/4" long x 1-1/2" high Condition: preowned in very good condition. The thumb latch and hinge are strong and work. The rivets are all present. There are no dents or cracks.
